The first day consists of 4–6 hours of classroom training, covering tow truck safety, equipment, towing applications, and more. The following three days will include one full day of hands-on, in-truck training with one of our instructors.
Yes, you will be traveling with one of our instructors, performing towing on the road. This will allow you to see exactly what happens and gain experience in a variety of real-world scenarios.
Once you complete your training, we will introduce you to many towing companies in your area, which will increase your chances of getting hired.
Earnings vary by company, but for 10–12 hour shifts, our records indicate that tow drivers typically earn between $1,000 and $1,700 per week.
Based on our records, not really. In the winter, more people get stuck, but in the summer, there are more cars traveling. Companies that know what they’re doing should stay busy year-round.
Our courses start at $150, and we are now offering Level 1 and Level 2 starting at $99.
